Guess what time of the year is it? The Ice Out Challenge! Guess when Lake Nipissing will be free of ice and win a gift certificate from us.

The prize

$100 Hunters Bay Marine Gift Certificate you can redeem with or without a purchase.

How to Play

Be the first one to guess the day Lake Nipissing gets free of the ice.

Conditions

  • Date submissions are only accepted in the comments section of our Facebook post.
  • The lake is considered free of ice only when North Bay Nugget makes the annual announcement.
  • One person = one guess.
  • If two people pick the same date, only the first one wins.
  • If nobody guessed right, the person with the next guess wins. If two people have equally chose the same date, then the first one to post their pick wins.
  • Deadline to submit your guesses is April 1st. No guesses after this date will be entered into the challenge.
